Prof. Jiří Přibáň

Professor Jiří Přibáň has been appointed Long-Term Fellow at the K. H. Eberle research center 'European Cultures in a Multipolar World' for Winter Term 2023-2024.

Jiří Přibáň is Professor at the School of Law and Politics, Cardiff University. His latest publications include Research handbook on the sociology of law (editor, 2020) and Sovereignty in post-sovereign society: A systems theory of European constitutionalism (2015). He is an editor of the Journal of Law and Society.

At Constance, he will pursue his project 'European Populism and Constitutional Cultures in the Global Context: Postnational Imaginaries, Transnational Identities and Multipolar Policy Risks Within and Beyond the EU'.
