Bachelor of Arts History

Since the winter semester 2015/16, the undergraduate (BA) Study Programme in History offers you three different areas of specialisation. You can decide which specialisation you are going to take during your studies:

- Study abroad semester: spend one semester at a university abroad and experience new scientific perspectives, live in a different country and get to learn new people. Last but not least, you are going to increase your foreign language skills.

- Internship semester: by doing a six months internship related to your course of studies, you will gather significant work experience in Germany or abroad.

- Scientific specialisation: profit from specific additional courses that will deepen your knowledge, strengthen the way you present scientific arguments and expand your writing skills.

All three specialisations are very attractive and substantial ways to learn something beyond your subject of studies, to discover something about yourself and to increase your job perspectives.
